Creating Your First Monitor

Setting up your first monitor takes just a few steps:

Step 1: Navigate to Monitors


Click Monitors in the sidebar, then click the New Monitor button.

Step 2: Choose Monitor Type


Select the type of check you want to perform:
  • HTTP/HTTPS: Check if a website or API endpoint is responding

  • TCP: Verify a port is open and accepting connections

    • DNS: Ensure DNS records resolve correctly

    • WebSocket: Monitor WebSocket connections
    • Step 3: Configure Settings


      Enter the URL or endpoint you want to monitor, and configure:
      • Check Interval: How often to check (1-60 minutes)

      • Timeout: How long to wait for a response

      • Expected Status: The HTTP status code you expect
      • Step 4: Set Up Alerts


        Choose how you want to be notified when issues occur:
        • Email notifications

        • Slack messages

        • Discord webhooks
        • Step 5: Save and Activate


          Click Create Monitor to save and start monitoring immediately.
